    Operations Manager. Must have experience in high-end food trading, supply, and operations. Preferably with previous experience as an Operations Manager from a similar company. The core business of company is the import, distribution and general supply of quality food and beverage products for wholesale and retail markets. In particular, the company is specialized in setting up and maintaining short time supply chains for sensitive fresh market products, such as fresh fish, shellfish, meat, poultry and niche market produce. Main Purpose of Job. 1. Liaising with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals 2. Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress 3. Supervising staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback Main Duties & Responsibilities. • Chalking out or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives • Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise human resources • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization • Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
