Lead the project team for the implementation of ELV systems on key infrastructure projects

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for the overall project team performance and coordination.
|

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interfacing with customer assigned personnel and representing the company at project meetings and presentations
- Elaboration and update of the project planning data (actual costs versus budget, times-schedules, personnel deployment planning etc.)
- Monitoring of project progress performance
- Achievement of program objectives as stipulated in the contract and in compliance with the company guidelines and policies.
- Supervision, review and control of deliverables preparation
- Organizing and leading project management meetings (internal and external)
- Reporting of the project according to defined goals: Quality, schedule, cost, effort and risk
- Claim management including correspondence and documentation to support company request for additional scope or extension of time and relevant compensation
- Addressing technical, commercial and contractual issues
- Subcontractor/vendor management
- Risk management (Risk assessment and mitigation plan)
- Supervision of the Quality Assurance and HSE activities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:

QUALIFICATIONS
|
University degree preferably in Computer Science, electronics or technical qualification in relevant field
PMP Certification recommended
|
EXPERIENCE
|
- Previous project management experience
- 10 years in managing engineering projects:
- ELV systems (CCTV, access control etc…)
- Intrusion detection systems
- BMS
- Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
- ICT Systems
- Professional Communication Systems etc…
|
KNOWLEDGE
|
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Understanding and managing contract requirements
Claim management experience
|

- Ability to delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up
- Ability to analyse client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

- Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic would be an advantage.
