Research and development supervisor - Food Production Job duties:
Develop old recipes and formula to a new lower cost or premium version. Develop new products based on market research. Building up formula on active recipes. Improve the current products. Implement new processes and procedure. Understanding customer expectation on to-be manufactured product. Update the prices of formulas with costing. Build up and update formula on system. Work in a team with marketing to cover the market needed. Work in a team with procurement to secure raw material second supplier and alternative recipes. Strong knowledge of fermented product starting from recipes to finish product as per customer expectation. Work in a team with sales to create special product to a specific customer. Document all phases of R&D. Manage customer relationship, customer visit and product tasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in (nutrition and food processing, agricultural engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering)
- Must have courses in GMP, ISO system, and HACCP
- Must have (3 to 7 years) of experience as a (R&D supervisor) in companies operating in the field of food and beverage
