Description: Cloud Technical Specialist /Cloud Architect
We are currently looking for Cloud Technical Specialists / Cloud Architects for our regional Center of Excellence (COE) in Jordan, who will be be responsible for Cloud Solutions Design, Planning, and Implementation where required, as part of Pre-Sales activities to support the Sales objectives in several countries.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
• Leadership in Cloud Solutions Design, Planning, Implementation, Migration and Support.
• Self-sufficiency in leading pre-sales activities aiming to close sales opportunities.
• Self-sufficiency in identifying, maturing and Cloud closing sales opportunities.
• Design Cloud-based solutions either hybrid or public.
• Implementation planning and delivery for Proof Of Concepts (POC), Migration Services & Deployment Services.
• Training planning and delivery.
• Support Cloud resellers in select bids.
• Presentation of Cloud Solutions in small-dedicated workshops and in larger audiences.
• Understand and challenge business requirements and design attractive solutions based on the agility and elasticity of the cloud.
• Design of Cloud offerings including services, support, training (classroom, roundtables, webinars). Detail definition of Solution Components, Scope of Work, Deliverables, Effort Sizing and Pricing.
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
• Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work.
• Author of design and configuration documents.
• Provide support remotely or on-site in a number of countries in the region.
• Able to travel to other countries for short assignments.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
• University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
• ≥ 2 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Consultant with pre-sales and implementation experience.
• ≥ 5 years of solution design and/or hands-on implementation experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Relevant ccertifications e.g. Azure Administrator, Azure Solution Architect, and Azure Security, Azure for SAP Workloads, AWS Solution Architect, or Google Solution Architect.
• Wide expertise of ICT field and systems, storage, virtualization, and/or security.
• Fluency in English.
