Job Purpose – What will you do
|

The SRE will work with a team of talented engineers to develop and maintain scalable and high-performance core platform services in a predominantly Microservices architecture. The role focuses on hands-on in implementing infrastructure with support contributions. While interfacing with engineering and design teams, and quality for our products with an emphasis on iteratively learning actions.

Key responsibilities – what you will be responsible for
|
- Provide level two technical support
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors as well as Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate various parts of the system
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Provide software releases support and management
- Maintain and enhance services and distributed applications (Microservices style)
- Build a healthy team environment via professional collaboration.

Job prerequisites (education, previous experience etc..)
|
- 1-2 years of professional experience as a DevOps / SRE engineer
- Bachelor’s in computer science / engineering or related field
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Excellent Linux/Unix administration skills and deep understanding of Linux OS principles
- Experience in architecting, developing, operating, and troubleshooting EKS (Kubernetes) clusters and/or other highly available systems at scale
- Good understanding of Microservices architectures
- Experience with infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as Code)
- Strong Unix or Linux background, including topics around network stack and scripting
- Effective communication and collaboration skills: Can drive and promote technical partnerships across teams
- Incident response and/or incident management experience is a plus
