Responsibilities
- Support and develop relationships with portfolio companies’ management
- monitor the portfolio to support return of capital and start-up growth, actively monitoring and maintaining relationships with existing companies, including conducting needs assessments and helping craft strategic growth and fundraising plans with portfolio companies.
- Contribute to the sourcing of new investment opportunities
- Contribute to idea generation for the growth & scaling of portfolio companies
- Analyze and report on portfolio companies’ performance.
- Conduct deal evaluation and execution; a holistic approach, including and not limited to investment appraisal, financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, forming recommendations and review of transaction documents
- Perform the required due diligence, including financial and investment due diligence
- Communicating and presentation to company’s leadership and board of directors
- Ensure that all information on current and potential investments is updated on a regular basis.
- intelligence and research analysis
- finalizing terms sheets, engaging in limited negotiation of terms with prospects, and finalizing transactions.
- lead the process of designing and structuring exits, aligned with the overall portfolio and investment strategy.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks, as required by the team and contribute with ideas & actions across the wider business
