Senior Systems Architect Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Systems Architect to build out, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced infrastructure systems and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will be analyzing, designing, installing, configuring Systems solutions. Will be part of a team that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions across multiple platforms.
- Implementation and Delivery of Microsoft Azure projects.
- Business Development and Technical Pre-Sales
- Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture,configurationand setup).
- Provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency.
- Primary customer technical contact
- Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, and vendors to provide technical assistance and support
- Able to carry out site surveys and audits
- Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes
- Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
- Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Author of design and configuration documents
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years architecting, developing, and deploying large scale solutions using the Microsoft cloud platform
- Minimum of 5 years of technical solutions implementation, architecture design, evaluation, and investigation in a cloud environment
- Possession of Developing Microsoft Azure SolutionsandArchitecting Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture development including excellent documentation skills.
- It is essential to have strong,in-depthand demonstrable hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service( PaaS) products such as Azure SQL,AppServices, Logic Apps, Functions and other Serverless services
- Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such including Azure AD or AD B2C
- Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights and Log Analytics
- Knowledge of PowerShell, ARM templates and deployment automation.
- Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise level Highly Available solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of the Office365 service, and all required tools and products
