  Job Description: One of the largest IT Services companies which is founded and based in the MENA region for 25 years, is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Senior Engineer​to be based in its HQ in the Gulf.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    ---

    Assess and design end-to-end Cloud & Infrastructure programs including the development of strategy, architecture, processes, governance, solutions, budget, and roadmap based on leading practices.

  1. Design and implement target technical architecture for clients with a deep understanding and analysis of Cloud & Infrastructure solutions including, but not limited to, public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web services, VMware, OpenShift, etc), as well as data center, network, storage, workplace & collaboration technologies.
  2. Develop RFPs, evaluate different technologies, and conduct vendor evaluation and selection.
  3. Communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with business executives, IT executives, IT personnel, and user communities.
  4. Coordinate, facilitate and make presentations.
  5. Support business development activities by developing technical and financial proposals and being proactive in selling.
  6. Work with colleagues across all Middle Eastern offices on client engagements and internal initiatives as well as with international teams.
  7. Assist in developing Cloud Infrastructure Practice in the Middle East.
  8. Foster a culture of automation, innovation, and excellence across the towers and ensure the account is in line with the organizational objectives.

     Requirements

     8+ years of experience in Cloud & Infrastructure consulting including the development of Cloud & Infrastructure consulting strategies, end-to-end Cloud & Infrastructure consulting transformation programs, security architecture, and extensive knowledge of the latest Cloud & Infrastructure consulting technologies and standards.
  9. Experience in telco, oil, gas, petrochemicals, utilities, banking, and or government sectors is a plus.
  10. Certification in Cloud & Infrastructure solutions (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web services, VMware, OpenShift, etc).
  11. Experience in designing and implementing cloud technologies and delivering cloud/Data Center migrations.
  12. Strong connections and relationships with clients in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
  13. Ability to learn new concepts and carry out technical research.
  14. A minimum of 12 years of experience in Networking with leadership experience.
