  • Description:
    • Knowledge skills & experience
      • Manage updating the directives for Programs and tracking.
      • Commercial Negotiations and Change Management.
      • Assist Procurement Department with Planning orders & POs.
      • Provide Support on Technical Department on all time & resource related Issues.
      • To supervise the preparation and closure of time planning documents.
      • To apply up to date knowledge in Planning and industry best practice.
      • To supervise provision of responses to bids, proposals and contract negotiations.
      • To assist when required in preparation of requests for proposals (RFP’s) for distribution to vendors.
      • Analyse all requirements and provisions in contracts regarding Planning.
      • To direct on lessons learnt for all future program modifications.
      • To supervise monitoring the performance of each signed contract Planning requirements.
      • Ensures that business goals are accomplished by program monitoring.
      • To mentor other professionals as required.
      • To communicate Planning contractual concerns to management and / or subordinates.
      • To plan and manage a database for the company’s Commercial/Contractual Management Relevant Planning information.
      • To keep track of new Regulations and Contract trends affecting potential impact on the business.
      • To coordinate with the Finance department assisting in correct billing and collection of revenues.
      • To identify potential improvements to existing policies and contract clauses.
      • To have input into all Resources/Contractual Management Reports.
      • To conduct special tasks as assigned.
      • Knowledge of international Planning software (Primavera, MS Project).
      • Ability to interact with senior representatives of client organizations as well as internal.
      • Knowledge of financial analytics and profit and loss implications.
      • Possesses persuasion, negotiation and judgment skills.
      • Demonstrates higher level of written and verbal communication skills.
      • Experience in Construction Resource Management.
      • Ability to improvise on contract terms and conditions being fair and protecting own company.
    • Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,
      • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Construction Law, from an accredited university and 25+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, is an advantage.
      • Qualified and Experience Practitioner Pathway Membership of a professional body is an advantage.
