  • Description:
    • Knowledge skills & experience
      • Manage updating the templates for the contracts and Purchase Orders
      • Commercial Negotiations and Change Management
      • Assist Procurement Department with Contracts Amendments & POs
      • Provide Support on Technical Department on all Contractual Issues
      • To supervise the preparation and closure of contract documents.
      • To apply basic knowledge of contract law and industry best practice.
      • To supervise provision of responses to bids, proposals and contract negotiations.
      • To supervise the preparation of requests for proposals (RFP’s) for distribution to vendors.
      • Analyse all requirements and provisions in contracts.
      • Ensure contracts are executed commercially and contractually in accordance with corporate guidelines and all warranties, bonds, insurances guarantee etc. are maintained and updated.
      • To direct on lessons learnt for all future contract modifications.
      • To supervise monitoring the performance of each signed contract.
      • Ensures that business goals are accomplished by contractual monitoring.
      • To mentor other professionals as required.
      • To communicate contractual concerns to management and / or subordinates.
      • To plan and manage a database for the company’s Commercial/Contractual Management information.
      • To keep track of new Regulations and Contract trends affecting potential impact on the business.
      • To coordinate with the finance department assisting in correct billing and collection of revenues.
      • To identify potential improvements to existing policies and contract clauses.
      • To have input into all Commercial/Contractual Management Reports.
      • To conduct special tasks as assigned.
      • Knowledge of international forms of contract.
      • Ability to interact with senior representatives of client organizations as well as internal.
      • Knowledge of financial analytics and profit and loss implications.
      • Possesses persuasion, negotiation and judgment skills.
      • Demonstrates higher level of written and verbal communication skills.
      • Experience in Construction Contract Management.
      • Ability to improvise on contract terms and conditions being fair and protecting own company.
    • Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Bachelor in Law Studies.
      • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Construction Law, from an accredited university and 25+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, is an advantage.
      • Qualified and Experience Practitioner Pathway Membership of a professional body is an advantage.
