Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our trading business specializing in building materials, water proofing, insulation, power generators, power storage, and HVAC systems. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our trading operations, including sales, procurement, logistics, finance, and human resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the company's strategic plans and objectives, in line with the overall business strategy
• Oversee all trading operations, including sales, procurement, logistics, finance, and human resources
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders
• Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the availability of high-quality products at competitive prices
• Oversee logistics and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
• Develop and maintain financial budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance, and take corrective actions where necessary
• Lead and manage the HR team to ensure the development and retention of high-performing employees
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
• Continuously monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats to the business
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in trading, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong understanding of the building materials, waterproofing, insulation, power generators, power storage, and HVAC systems industry
• Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, supply chain management, and logistics
