Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled HVAC Engineering Head to lead our engineering team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC systems. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in HVAC engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of engineers to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage the HVAC engineering team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects within budget.
•Develop project plans, design criteria, and construction documents for HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, in compliance with industry standards and codes.
•Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and operation of HVAC systems, including load calculations, system design, and equipment selection.
•Conduct technical reviews of HVAC designs and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
•Evaluate and select HVAC equipment and systems to meet project requirements.
•Provide technical guidance to project teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
•Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
•Participate in the development and implementation of quality control and safety programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•10+ years of experience in HVAC engineering.
•Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
•Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Knowledge of industry standards and codes, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and IPC.
•Experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
•Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
