Description: Project Manager (Fiber Optics Infrastructure) - Limited time contract - 15 months
Scope of Work (Duties):
●Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project. ●Managing project objectives, responsibilities, and scope. ●Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. ●Ensuring that all resources are available and allocated. ●Preparing project plan in details (Milestones, activities, and work stream) ●Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. ●Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. ●Report and escalate to management as needed. ●Manage the relationship with the contractors and all stakeholders. ●Perform risk management to minimize project risks. ●Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. ●Participating in studying and evaluating bids. ●Participating in negotiations and arranging contract with winners contractors. ●Reviewing and auditing in partnership with the project team contractors’ bills. ●Constantly monitor, report on progress and escalate of the project to the management where needed. ●Perform formal project closedown in accordance with agreed project closure process. ●Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with the contractors. ●Monitor the projects from beginning to end, working closely with the contractors’ representatives, internal business partners and other departments. ●Follow up on the project as per management directions. ●Ensuring that all works are complying with the technical specs. ●Ensuring that the contractors take all the needed approvals to perform the work. ●Follow up with the governmental entities if it’s needed. ●Ensuring that all contractors are stick to the safety regulations.
Total Years of Experience:7-10 Years’ experience and more than 5 years in implementation and supervision of excavation and fiber optics projects
Education: Civil Engineer (preferred) / Telecom Engineer
Monthly Salary: 2500-3500 JOD gross/month
