Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC, fire fighting systems, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field and will be responsible for the successful execution of mechanical projects, from planning to completion. The candidate must have excellent technical knowledge and the ability to manage and coordinate with other project team members to ensure that projects are completed within the established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
•Develop project plans and schedules for mechanical projects, including HVAC, fire fighting systems, and plumbing systems.
•Coordinate with other project team members, including architects, civil engineers, and electrical engineers, to ensure that mechanical systems are properly integrated into the overall project design.
•Review and analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with local and national codes, standards, and regulations.
•Develop mechanical system designs, layouts, and equipment selection based on project requirements, specifications, and standards.
•Prepare cost estimates and budgets for mechanical systems and equipment, including material and labor costs.
•Manage and supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
•Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that work is being carried out according to design specifications and quality standards.
•Provide technical support and guidance to project team members and subcontractors during the construction phase.
•Ensure that project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on project execution.
•In-depth knowledge of HVAC, fire fighting systems, and plumbing systems.
•Strong technical skills and the ability to use relevant software and tools.
•Knowledge of local and national codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical systems.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•Availability to travel and work on-site as required.
