Description: Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the civil engineering/construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-end hotels, similar to Marriott and Sheraton, and will have expertise in managing the entire project lifecycle, from the contracting side to the operator side.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle, from design to construction and final handover to the operator side
-Ensure project timelines and budgets are met by coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
-Act as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
-Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring quality control standards are met
-Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed to the required standard and on schedule
-Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports
-Identify and recommend process improvements and cost-saving measures to increase project efficiency and profitability
-Manage project budgets and financials, including monitoring project expenses, and providing regular financial reports to senior management
-Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
-Minimum of 12 years of experience in the civil engineering/construction industry, with a focus on hotels similar to Marriott and Sheraton
-Proven experience in managing the entire project lifecycle, from design to final handover
-Proven experience in handing over from the cotaractors to the operators while monitoring the moving in
-Experience in managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and clients
-Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
-Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
-Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
-Ability to travel as required
