  • Description:
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts and Procurement Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing procurement, vendors, subcontracts, materials, and services in support of all projects. The Contracts and Procurement Engineer will play a crucial role in supplier selection, negotiation, and the creation of subcontract and long-term agreements. Additionally, they will oversee the management of large and complex supplier programs. This position requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of procurement processes.
    Responsibilities:
    •Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting potential suppliers/partners for systems, materials, and services.
    •Manage the procurement of products and services required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
    •Maintain contracts with vendors, ensuring all parties adhere to the agreed terms and conditions.
    •Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions, ensuring favorable terms for the organization while maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
    •Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop procurement strategies and ensure alignment with project requirements.
    •Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, addressing any issues or concerns to ensure optimal supplier performance.
    •Manage and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier-related risks, contract compliance, and delivery delays.
    •Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor performance metrics.
    •Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new procurement strategies to enhance the organization's procurement capabilities.
    •Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to procurement activities.
    Requirements:
    •Must be currently located in Saudi Arabia and possess a Transferable lQAMA.
    •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    •Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a similar role.
    •Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
    •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    •Demonstrated ability to negotiate and establish favorable contract terms and conditions.
    •Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
    •Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
    •Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
    •Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
    •Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
