Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who is UPDA certified to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing complex electrical projects for our esteemed clients. Your expertise in electrical engineering, coupled with your extensive experience working with reputable consulting or contracting companies, will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
-Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for a wide range of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
-Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure the successful execution of electrical engineering projects.
-Conduct detailed feasibility studies, electrical system analyses, and cost estimates to support project planning and decision-making processes.
-Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints.
-Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical support, guidance, and training to foster their professional growth and enhance overall team performance.
-Conduct quality assurance and control activities to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of electrical designs and installations.
-Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical engineering, and apply them to improve project outcomes and optimize processes.
-Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring that project progress, risks, and issues are communicated promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
-UPDA certification (Grade A or B) is mandatory.
-Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a consultant or reputed contracting company.
-Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, standards, and best practices.
-Proficiency in using industry-standard electrical design software and tools.
-Proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects from inception to completion.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
