Description: Responsibilities:
•Demonstrate highways and roadways design experience using KSA MOMRA/US FHWA standards such as AASHTO, MUTCD, HCM, …. For all design elements, such as alignments, geometry, cross section, signage, marking, traffic control, pavement design, demand modeling, detailing, specifications, QA/QC.
•The design skills should include hands-on software design skills including Civil3D, PTV, Sidra, Synchro, HCS packages.
•Manage and supervise a team of civil engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
•Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the design and construction of civil infrastructure projects.
•Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate civil engineering solutions into overall project plans.
•Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise to evaluate the viability and sustainability of proposed civil engineering projects.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and development within the team.
Requirements:
•Minimum of 15 years of proven technical proficiency as a Civil Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
•At least 7 years of experience in a senior or chief engineer role, demonstrating leadership and management capabilities.
•Strong familiarity with international and regional infrastructure projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
•Excellent leadership skills, capable of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve project goals.
•Self-confident and critical thinker, able to make informed decisions and solve complex engineering problems.
•Ability to create a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
•Proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and documentation in both English and the local language.
•Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards, with expertise in areas such as site grading, road design, stormwater management, and transportation planning.
•Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with relevant professional certifications.
