    Job Title: Portfolio Manager
    Job Description: As the Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and overall management of a portfolio of projects spanning the water, energy, industrial, and commercial sectors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, meeting client expectations, and driving the growth and profitability.
    Key Responsibilities:
    •Portfolio Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio strategy aligned with business goals and objectives. This includes assessing project feasibility, resource allocation, risk assessment, and financial projections.
    •Project Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to project managers and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure projects are executed according to the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
    •Client Relationship Management: Foster strong client relationships by serving as a point of contact for high-level project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction. •Maintain open communication channels to understand and meet client needs.
    •Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues within the portfolio and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor project performance indicators and take proactive measures to ensure projects stay on track.
    •Resource Allocation: Work closely with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively across projects to optimize resource utilization and meet project deadlines.
    •Financial Management: Monitor the financial performance of the portfolio, tracking expenses, revenue, and profitability. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
    •Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects adhere to high-quality standards, industry regulations, and SSEM's internal processes. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
    •Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders including clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure clear communication, alignment, and successful project outcomes.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
    •Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in project management within the water, energy, industrial, and commercial sectors.
    •Proven track record of successfully managing complex portfolios consisting of diverse projects.
    •Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
    •Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    •Knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and trends.
    •PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.
