Description:
As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our products in the cement and building chemicals manufacturing process. You will lead a team of quality control professionals, develop and implement quality control procedures, and work closely with various departments to achieve and maintain product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the quality control team to ensure effective performance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols.
- Oversee all quality control testing and inspection activities, including raw materials, in-process checks, and finished product inspections.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality certifications (e.g., ISO, ASTM, OSHA) relevant to cement and building chemicals manufacturing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain high-quality standards for incoming raw materials and components.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of safety within the quality control department and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science).
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to cement or building chemicals.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
