  As a seasoned Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Your primary focus will be on managing procurement activities within different sectors including the construction sector, leveraging your extensive industry knowledge.
  Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet project requirements and organizational objectives.
  2. Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project specifications and establish procurement plans accordingly.
  4. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain a high level of service quality.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and market conditions, advising leadership on potential impacts.
  7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.
  8. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and achieve mutual success.
  Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven track record with a minimum of 12 years in procurement, preferably within the construction industry.
  3. Extensive experience working in the Gulf Region is highly desirable.
  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  5. In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and market trends.
  6. Ability to lead and mentor a procurement team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
