• Description:
  As the Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of construction materials and services. With a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects, and your ability to navigate the local and regional market will be crucial.
  Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.
  2. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.
  3. Cost Optimization: Implement cost-effective measures without compromising quality, ensuring efficient budget utilization.
  4. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, conducting market analysis to identify new suppliers and innovative procurement approaches.
  5. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring continuity of the supply chain.
  6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies, in all procurement activities.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraints.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
  Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement within the building and construction industry.
  3. Proven experience in KSA or the GCC region is highly desirable.
  4. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable terms.
  5. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, market dynamics, and industry best practices.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
