• Description:
  We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Environmental Manager with a strong background in the building and construction industry, particularly in the field of Marine projects. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in actively managing environmental aspects within construction projects, preferably in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
  Key Responsibilities:
  1. Environmental Compliance:
  - Ensure adherence to local and international environmental regulations and standards.
  - Develop and implement strategies to guarantee compliance with environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Project Oversight:
  - Manage and oversee environmental aspects of construction projects, with a primary focus on Marine projects.
  - Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk assessments for project sites.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  - Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address environmental concerns and promote sustainable construction practices.
  - Facilitate communication between different stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and environmentally conscious project environment.
  4. Environmental Management Systems:
  - Establish and maintain effective Environmental Management Systems (EMS) for construction projects.
  - Implement monitoring and reporting procedures to track and measure environmental performance.
  5. Environmental Training and Awareness:
  - Develop and deliver environmental training programs for project staff and contractors.
  - Foster a culture of environmental awareness and responsibility within the project team.
  6. Environmental Audits:
  - Conduct regular environmental audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  - Recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.
  Qualifications:
  - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  - Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental management within the construction industry, with a focus on Marine projects.
  - Strong knowledge of local and international environmental regulations and standards.
  - Experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly desirable.
  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
