• Description:
  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •Develop and implement the company's procurement strategy to align with business goals and project requirements.
  •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the procurement.
  •Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors of landscaping materials, equipment, and services.
  •Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.
  •Oversee inventory levels and demand forecasting to prevent shortages and excesses of materials.
  •Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
  •Coordinate the transportation and distribution of materials and equipment to various project sites.
  •Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  •Establish quality standards for materials and ensure adherence to them by suppliers.
  •Monitor and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
  •Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  •Monitor external factors such as market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that could impact the supply chain.
  •Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles depending on the project size.
  •Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  •Identify opportunities to integrate sustainable practices into the procurement, such as sourcing eco-friendly materials and reducing waste
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  •Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, preferably in the landscaping, construction, or any related industry.
  •Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  •Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  •Can communicate in Arabic and English.
  •Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
