• Description:
  Our client is an international retail provider , the ideal candidate should have expeirence in the retail sector , preferably in KSA or GCC , is an Arabic speaker , user friendly of ERP systems preferably SAP. build the finance department from scratch by being creative, solution-orientated and decision making
   implement and manage the company’s financial accounting (incl. payroll), working capital and cash flow and
  budgeting as well as the annual financial statement in line with regional and global expectations
   develop and ensure financial policies and regulatory compliance, liaises with auditors, banks, tax authorities
  and other governmental authorities
   execute robust financial controls and risk management practices
   provide financial guidance and monitor financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
   implement cost-saving measures and reporting
   collaborate with other executive team members and shareholder from the joint venture to align financial
  strategies with overall business goals
   present financial information and insights to the board, shareholders from the joint venture and other
  stakeholders as well as support executive team with business planning
   build a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the organization's growth
   be a role model and to lead and mentor the leadership team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous
  improvement
   empower your team to use their personal scope of responsibility and to achieve their goals by setting clear
  targets, managing expectations and providing a continuous flow of information
  What you should bring along
   completed master’s degree or an equivalent in finance
   several years of working experience in finance ideally in retail or in a customer-oriented business, including
  experience in collaborating with different stakeholders from different levels, preferably in an international
  setting
   Entrepeneurthinking by giving guidance and getting the business started
   Enthusiasm to tackle and drive things forward yourself and achieve rapid implementation in a solution-
  orientated manner
   business fluent in English and Arabic
   knowledge of accounting, tax issues, and controlling, ideally experience in setting up a finance department
   proven stakeholder management capability and relationship building skills
   a proactive and solution-oriented approach with a pronounced can-do attitude and the ability to build trust,
  connect with people and effectively coach, lead and support key stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic
  environment
   excellent analytical, reasoning problem solving skills
   an open mindset and the willingness to lead by example and the ability to perform well under pressure
  guaranteeing a clear focus on the business objectives at all times
   internationally minded with strong intercultural skills for international collaboration
