Description: Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic planning processes for project management, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead the planning team in creating project schedules, timelines, and milestones to optimize project efficiency and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to gather inputs and ensure accurate project plans.
- Conduct regular analysis of project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Manage resource allocation and utilization to support project requirements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgets.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting project status, performance metrics, and forecasted outcomes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to recommend improvements to planning processes and tools.
- Mentor and develop planning team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in planning and scheduling within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of oil & gas exploration, production, and project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of making data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices within the oil & gas industry.
