Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand procurement requirements for Oil & Gas projects in Central Asia.
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, price, and terms for equipment, materials, and services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and project specifications throughout the procurement process.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Coordinate logistics, shipping, and customs clearance for international shipments to Central Asia.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies related to Oil & Gas procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required; proficiency in Russian is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement roles within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes for international projects, preferably in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, etc.).
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and logistics for the Central Asia region.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is preferred.
