Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanical engineers and technicians in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical engineering solutions align with project requirements, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Manage and review project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure optimal project performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to facilitate effective communication and project success.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to support decision-making processes.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence within the mechanical engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong background in Technical Office, PMU, or PMO environments.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex mechanical engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship.
