Description: Responsibilities:
- Lead the pipeline engineering team, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
- Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and plans for pipeline projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations for pipeline projects.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and technical documents.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies on pipeline-related matters.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in pipeline engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in pipeline engineering, with a focus on design, construction, and project management.
- Proficiency in pipeline design software such as AutoCAD, CAESAR II, and Pipelines Studio.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, and ASTM.
- Previous experience working in a Technical Office, Project Management Unit (PMU), or Project Management Office (PMO) is required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of delivering successful pipeline projects on time and within budget.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
