Description: Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of civil engineers, drafters, and other professionals to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to establish project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve any issues, and ensure quality control.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and proposals to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering.
- Proven experience in a Technical Office, Project Management Unit (PMU), or Project Management Office (PMO) role.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
