Description: Responsibilities:
•Create, plan, and implement accuracy in inventory controls.
•Manage the receiving and handling of materials into the warehouse.
•Handle and execute Inbound & Outbound operations.
•Plan and organize materials and items at proper places in a warehouse as per the Safety & Storage standards.
•Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
•Monitor any damages and shortages of goods in the warehouse and create discrepancy report as required.
•Manage the overall activities including the payment of invoices, calculating the area occupied by them etc.
•Develop the processes and procedures to effectively deliver on the departmental policies and ensure they are reviewed and updated to reflect the ongoing protocols and practices.
•Plan manpower requirements to ensure that there are adequate resources to fulfil the departmental objectives for the year.
•Regularly initiate warehouse scans and inventory audits.
•Ensure organized and efficient record keeping by documenting all property transferred in and out of the warehouse.
•Manage warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or equivalent in a related field of study.
•Minimum 10 years of warehouse management experience preferably in the GCC.
•Good knowledge of ERP & WMS solutions specifically for warehouse management.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and competence in dealing with a variety of individuals.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Sound multi-tasking skills.
•Ability to think and act quickly in an emergency.
•Demonstrate respect for different cultures, interest in and understanding of a range of attitudes, beliefs, and traditions.
•Arabic language skills (advantage).
