Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the IT department, including managing a team of IT professionals.
- Ensure the security of all IT systems, networks, and data, implementing best practices and staying updated on emerging threats.
- Manage IT projects from inception to completion, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology, advising senior management on potential opportunities and risks.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to employees, promoting a culture of IT literacy and awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in metals manufacturing or a related industry.
- Proven experience in leading IT teams, managing projects, and implementing IT best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks, including experience with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security measures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
