Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Energy & Utilities division, focusing on Power Plants and Oil & Gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive leadership within Oil & Gas and/or Energy Concession Companies, demonstrating exceptional skills in managing Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and vision for the Energy & Utilities division, aligning with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the efficient and effective operation of Power Plants and Oil & Gas facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence, identify new opportunities, and cultivate strategic partnerships within the Energy sector.
- Develop and execute robust financial strategies, managing P&L responsibilities to achieve profitability targets and sustainable growth.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, investors, and industry partners.
- Stay abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the Energy & Utilities landscape, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Champion sustainability practices, promoting environmentally responsible operations and the integration of renewable energy solutions where applicable.
- Uphold the company's values of integrity, transparency, and operational excellence in all endeavors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 25 years of executive leadership experience in the Energy & Utilities sector, with a focus on Power Plants and/or Oil & Gas operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale P&L responsibilities, driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of Energy industry dynamics, regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans, capitalize on market opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire teams, foster innovation, and drive results.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability practices and the advancement of clean energy solutions.
