    Key Responsibilities:
    - Develop and implement strategies and goals for the logistics department to meet business targets.
    - Establish and enforce logistics policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
    - Oversee the implementation of logistics and safety procedures, taking corrective actions as needed.
    - Make critical decisions on technical logistics activities to solve problems efficiently and cost-effectively.
    - Ensure logistics processes run smoothly with the required quantity and quality, coordinating with the production team to meet customer demands and minimize complaints.
    - Provide ongoing training for department staff to ensure all activities are performed safely and correctly.
    - Manage recruitment, orientation, and training of new employees.
    - Motivate and develop staff by setting objectives, supporting performance, and reviewing progress.
    - Provide accurate routing information to coordinate delivery times and locations.
    - Monitor departmental performance against goals, taking preventive and corrective actions as necessary.
    - Ensure timely and safe delivery of all products to customers, aiming for minimal complaints.
    - Continuously benchmark logistics activities and procedures against industry best practices to implement state-of-the-art technologies.
    - Set and monitor the logistics budget, ensuring financial performance aligns with the budget.
    - Collaborate with management to achieve overall business goals and ensure proper implementation of approved procedures.
    - Ensure all logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    Qualifications & Skills:
    - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or Engineering.
    - 10 years of experience in logistics management within the chemical industry.
    - Previous experience working with international shipping lines.
    - Logistics Risk & Business Continuity Management.
    - Strategic Planning and Forecasting.
    - Budgeting and Financial Understanding.
    - Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transportation.
    - Advanced Computer Skills.
    - Proficiency in English.
    - Understanding of International Shipping Standards.
    - Knowledge of International Safety Practices.
