Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in construction and design, with a strong focus on buildings, culverts, and steel structures. This role requires expertise in using advanced design software and fluency in both Arabic and English. Prior experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is essential.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Design and Analysis:
- Lead the structural design process for various projects including buildings, culverts, and steel structures.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Project Management:
- Manage and oversee multiple projects from conception through to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Software Proficiency:
- Utilize advanced design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and other relevant tools.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in design through expert use of these programs.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
- Bilingual Communication:
- Communicate effectively in both Arabic and English, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations in both languages.
- Regional Experience:
- Apply knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices specific to KSA or the GCC.
- Leverage prior experience in the region to address unique project challenges and opportunities.
*Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design and construction.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in buildings, culverts, and steel structures.
- Extensive experience working in KSA or the GCC region.
- Expert proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, and ETABS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Superior communication skills in both Arabic and English.
