Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Civil Engineer Designer with over 10 years of experience in the contracting sector. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in infrastructure works, including roads, bridges, water, and sewer networks. Proficiency in network modeling and design software, along with bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, water, and sewer systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to simulate and analyze network systems.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Apply engineering principles and best practices to solve complex design challenges.
- Review and approve technical reports, design calculations, and drawings.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports in both Arabic and English.
- Negotiate contracts and manage client expectations to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering design, particularly within the contracting industry.
- Extensive experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water, and sewer networks.
- Proficient in infrastructure design and network modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Systems, EPANET).
- Strong understanding of engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
