Description:
Responsibilities:
• Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to review progress and workflow, addressing their suggestions and taking appropriate actions.
• Prepare periodic reports on activities and achievements for submission to the direct supervisor.
• Specify manpower requirements and identify training needs of subordinates in coordination with the HR Manager.
• Follow up on employee affairs, including vacations and leaves.
• Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates and recommend necessary actions.
• Oversee and manage all landscape construction activities on site according to project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of laborers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper execution of hardscape and softscape elements like planting, irrigation systems, walkways, lighting, and grading.
• Monitor and enforce safety and environmental regulations on site.
• Conduct inspections to ensure correct installations, report deficiencies, and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment on site.
• Coordinate the delivery and use of landscape materials such as soil, plants, and decorative elements.
• Supervise the installation of irrigation systems, drainage systems, and planting.
• Ensure adherence to horticultural best practices and engineering standards in installations.
• Perform additional duties or responsibilities assigned by management. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in landscape construction.
• Proven experience as a Landscape Site Engineer or in a similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction processes, materials, and horticultural practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting landscape plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools like AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, drainage, soil preparation, and plant care.
• Good computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Managerial skills to lead a team or group.
• Fluency in the English language with professional writing skills.
