    Job Summary: The Network Administration Specialist is responsible for managing and securing the IT and Operational Technology (OT) network infrastructure in a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures the seamless operation of network systems, supports industrial automation connectivity, oversees CCTV surveillance systems, and maintains compliance with industry regulations.
    Responsibilities:
    • Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and other networking components.
    • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime for both IT and OT environments.
    • Implement and manage network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control policies.
    • Ensure high availability and redundancy of network infrastructure to support production operations.
    • Work closely with OT teams to secure and maintain industrial networks, PLCs, SCADA, and IoT devices.
    • Implement segmentation strategies (e.g., VLANs) to separate IT and OT networks securely.
    • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards for industrial control systems (ICS).
    • Install, configure, and maintain IP-based CCTV surveillance systems across production facilities.
    • Monitor CCTV performance, troubleshoot camera and recording issues, and ensure data retention policies are met.
    • Manage access control systems and integrate them with network security policies.
    • Diagnose and resolve network issues to minimize production downtime.
    • Provide technical support to IT and OT teams, ensuring smooth network operations.
    • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and upgrades.
    • Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and security documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with food industry cybersecurity and data protection standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
    • Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions for network-related incidents.
      Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 2-3 years in network administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • CompTIA Network+
    • ISA/IEC 62443 (for industrial cybersecurity)
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network protocols.
    • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or industrial networking equipment (e.g., Hirschmann, Siemens).
    • Familiarity with SCADA, PLC networking, and industrial automation protocols (Modbus, PROFINET).
    • Proficiency in firewall administration (Fortinet, Sophos).
    • Hands-on experience with IP-based CCTV systems (e.g., Hikvision, Axis, Milestone).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
