Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations across installation and maintenance departments to meet company and client objectives.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction and service processes.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and HR to ensure readiness and proper resource allocation.
- Plan and schedule installations of swimming pools, jacuzzis, saunas, and water features.
- Review and approve installation documents, including BOQs and technical submittals.
- Supervise on-site execution, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct site audits for quality assurance in waterproofing, MEP, tiling, and control systems.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and emergency repair operations.
- Ensure service team compliance with maintenance protocols and water treatment standards.
- Monitor client issue response times and ensure effective complaint resolution.
- Manage chemical and spare parts inventory with storekeepers.
- Track Annual Service Contract performance and renewals.
- Supervise water quality testing and equipment balancing procedures.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and supervisors.
- Approve rosters, leave schedules, and manage overtime planning.
- Identify training needs and oversee staff skill development.
- Set and monitor departmental KPIs, analyzing performance to drive improvements.
- Implement automation tools for better operational tracking and control.
- Maintain direct communication with clients, addressing issues and participating in site reviews.
- Support sales efforts by contributing technical and logistical insights during tender evaluations.
- Oversee departmental budgets and site expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Validate vendor invoices and ensure alignment with completed work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering; MBA is an advantage.
- 15 years of experience in operations within swimming pool or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) sectors.
- Expertise in swimming pool systems, including filtration, dosing, heaters, and waterproofing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP platforms, and scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to conduct regular site visits.
