Senior Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Involves in the process of planning, managing, and purchasing goods and spare parts from
external suppliers .
- Review procurement documents and prepare orders.
- Monitor and update inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Maintain and update procurement records and databases.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Support the procurement team in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Conduct basic market research to support sourcing decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Proven track record of managing strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract
management.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, price trends, and vendor evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with legal terms related to procurement contracts and compliance regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
