  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage all engineering operations within the pharmaceutical facility, ensuring optimal performance of equipment and infrastructure.
    • Lead maintenance planning, facility upgrades, and technical troubleshooting to support uninterrupted production.
    • Supervise engineering teams and coordinate cross-departmental technical support, especially in production and quality operations.
    • Oversee compliance with local Iraqi regulations and international standards including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
    • Develop and manage engineering project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Ensure proper documentation of engineering processes, equipment logs, and SOPs.
    • Identify and implement technical improvements for increased operational efficiency and reduced downtime.
    • Lead audits and inspections related to engineering systems and safety compliance.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
    • 8 to 15 years of engineering management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical production systems, utilities, and equipment.
    • Proven leadership skills in managing engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements in Iraq and international standards.
    • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
    • Must be willing to work 6 days per week in Iraq.
    • Preference for Iraqi nationals, though other nationalities will be considered.
    • Open to both local and international candidates.
