    Key Responsibilities:
    • Technical Solution Design & Consulting:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client business needs, technical requirements, and strategic objectives related to AV and IT infrastructure.
    • Conduct thorough discovery sessions, site surveys, and needs assessments.
    • Design comprehensive, scalable, and cost-effective AV and IT solutions, including but not limited to:
    • AV: Video conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex), control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX), digital signage, unified communications, large format displays, projectors, sound systems, room scheduling solutions.
    • IT Infrastructure: Networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi), servers, storage, virtualization, cloud integration, cybersecurity principles, structured cabling, data centers, and network security.
    • Develop technical proposals, bills of materials (BOMs), system architecture diagrams, and scope of work documents.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AV and IT.
      Client Engagement & Presentation:
    • Deliver persuasive technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to prospective clients and stakeholders at all levels (technical and non-technical).
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, addressing their concerns and providing expert guidance.
    • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
    • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and pre-sales calls to gather requirements and present solutions.
      Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop winning strategies and drive revenue growth.
    • Liaise with internal engineering, project management, and support teams to ensure smooth handovers and successful project implementation.
    • Provide technical training and support to the sales team on new solutions and technologies.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-sales processes and collateral.
    • Assist in responding to RFPs/RFQs with detailed technical specifications and justifications.
      Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant certifications and equivalent experience will also be considered.
      Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or technical consultant role, specifically within the AV and IT infrastructure domains.
    • Proven track record of successfully designing and proposing complex integrated AV and IT solutions.
    • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for both AV and IT.
    • Technical Skills (Strong knowledge in several of the following areas):
    • AV: Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Shure, Cisco, Poly, Logitech, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Dante, AV over IP.
    • IT: Networking (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet), Servers (Windows Server, Linux), Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Storage (SAN/NAS), Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP basics), Cybersecurity fundamentals, Microsoft 365, Active Directory.
    • Structured Cabling Standards (T568A/B, fiber optics).
    • CAD or Visio proficiency for technical diagrams is a plus.
