• Description:
  • Responsibilities:
    • Develop and update detailed BIM models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
    • Collaborate closely with BIM coordinators, electrical engineers, and other discipline teams to ensure accurate and coordinated modeling.
    • Generate shop drawings, layouts, and sections from BIM models in compliance with project specifications and standards.
    • Assist in clash detection processes, identifying and resolving interferences with other MEP and structural elements.
    • Maintain model integrity by following established naming conventions, LOD (Level of Detail) requirements, and BIM execution plans.
    • Support the creation of quantity take-offs, schedules, and prefabrication models from the electrical BIM database.
    • Participate in project coordination meetings and incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback.
  • Requirements:
    • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
    • 2–5 years of experience in electrical drafting or BIM modeling, specifically within MEP construction projects.
    • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; familiarity with BIM 360 or similar collaboration platforms is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, and MEP coordination practices.
    • Attention to detail, ability to work under supervision, and commitment to delivering high-quality models and drawings.
    • Effective communication and team collaboration skills in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
