• Description:
  • Responsibilities:
    • Create and update BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), chilled water, drainage, and plumbing systems using Revit and related BIM software.
    • Collaborate with BIM coordinators, mechanical engineers, and other discipline modelers to ensure accurate and fully coordinated 3D models.
    • Generate construction-ready shop drawings, detailed layouts, and sections from BIM models in accordance with project standards and specifications.
    • Participate in clash detection and coordination activities using tools such as Navisworks, and revise models based on feedback.
    • Ensure all modeling follows project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Level of Detail (LOD) requirements, and standardized naming conventions.
    • Assist in producing bills of quantities, spool drawings, and fabrication details based on model data.
    • Update models with site revisions and as-built information during the construction and close-out phases.
  • Requirements:
    • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
    • 2–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or BIM modeling, particularly in MEP contracting or design environments.
    • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; experience with BIM 360 or other CDE platforms is an advantage.
    • Good understanding of mechanical systems, coordination requirements, and construction methodologies.
    • High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and commitment to quality output.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
