  Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design tests for new features
  • Write unit and integration tests to test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Monitor the application performance and crash logs and work on bug fixing and improving application performance in timely fashion
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to Improve testing
  • Support other team members in their roles as and when needed
  • Support Tech Lead during sprint grooming sessions
  • Test planning and design:
    • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
    • Ensure coverage for manual and automated testing, Including unit, Integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Execution and Analysis:
    • Execute test cases across applications built using Kotlin, Swift, .NET, Python, SQL server, Oracle, Postgres and various APIs.
    • Analyze test results, document defects, and ensure they are addressed by the development team.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and workflows.
    • Participate In code reviews and sprint planning sessions to provide QA Input.
  • Understanding of .Net, C#, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, GIT, and HTTP protocol
  • Working knowledge of the general web application landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
  • May perform other duties as directed and required.

    Technical Competencies:
  • .NET Framework.
  • C#.
  • Python.
  • Restful APIs and API testing.
  • SQL (Oracle/MSSQL/Postgres).
  • Selenium, JUnit, Postman
  • Git for source control and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, and modern software development methodologies.
