  Position Purpose:

  The Treasury Director will lead all aspects of corporate and project financing strategies, with a primary focus on raising capital from international financial institutions, banks, and investors. The role requires a strong background in treasury operations, debt structuring, and relationship management across global financial markets. This position will be instrumental in supporting the group’s growth through effective financing solutions and risk management strategies.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financing strategies for infrastructure projects across multiple sectors and countries.
  • Lead efforts to secure debt and project financing from international banks, multilateral institutions, and export credit agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global financial institutions, lenders, and investors.
  • Negotiate loan terms, covenants, and financial structures to optimize capital efficiency and manage risk.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and debt servicing activities for the group.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, reporting standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide strategic input to the CFO and executive team on financing options, risk exposure, and funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with legal, project, and business development teams on the financial aspects of contracts, tenders, and investments.
  • Monitor financial markets, currency risk, and interest rate trends to inform funding decisions.
  • Support the treasury team’s development and ensure the use of best practices and technology in treasury operations.
  • Travel as needed to meet with banks, partners, and project teams in various operating countries.

  Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CFA, ACT, or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in securing large-scale financing, preferably in infrastructure, energy, or capital-intensive sectors.
  • Strong network and working relationships with international banks and financial institutions.
  • Experience working in or with emerging markets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or Turkish is a plus.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
