  • Description:
    • Responsibilities:
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for electrical systems in MEP construction projects.
    • Perform quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical installations including lighting, power, ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems, and building automation.
    • Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for electrical components to ensure specification compliance.
    • Monitor ongoing project costs and provide regular financial reports to ensure adherence to budget.
    • Assist in tendering processes by preparing electrical scope documents and evaluating technical submissions.
    • Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts related to electrical works.
    • Conduct site inspections to verify completed work against contractual and technical specifications.
    • Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure commercial alignment.
    • Handle change orders, contractual claims, and cost-related negotiations for electrical packages.
    • Ensure all commercial activities align with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
    • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical quantity surveying within the MEP contracting industry.
    • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and BMS (Building Management Systems).
    • Proficiency in cost control software and measurement tools; strong Excel skills required.
    • Familiarity with construction contracts, especially FIDIC or similar frameworks.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail under tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of local construction codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
