    Qualifications & Skills

    • Diploma or degree in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, sugar art, and plated desserts.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
    • Creativity and passion for developing innovative dessert concepts.
    • Strong communication and team management skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and innovate seasonal dessert and pastry menus.
    • Oversee daily production of all baked goods, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
    • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
    • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for pastry ingredients and supplies.
    • Supervise, train, and schedule pastry team members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team for special events, catering, and new menu launches.
    • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive kitchen environment.
