    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in Japanese cuisine.
    • Deep knowledge of sushi preparation, knife skills, and seafood handling.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail, consistency, and high-quality standards.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese specialties according to recipes and standards.
    • Handle and store raw fish and seafood safely, following proper hygiene standards.
    • Maintain high standards of food presentation, taste, and quality.
    • Assist in menu planning and suggest new sushi creations or seasonal specials.
    • Monitor inventory, manage ingredients, and assist with ordering supplies.
    • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and HACCP regulations.
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
