  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement construction project plans, budgets, and timelines from conception to completion.
  • Oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring quality standards, client specifications, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and labor usage, making strategic adjustments when needed.
  • Lead risk management planning to address potential delays, issues, and cost overruns.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the construction division, including Project Managers and Site Managers.
  • Delegate responsibilities across project teams and senior staff.
  • Mentor and develop team members to promote a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and efficient department operations.
  • Manage capital budgets and expenditures for construction projects.
  • Oversee bidding and contract management in compliance with regulations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for cost-effective procurement.
  • Review financial data and prepare accurate forecasts and reports for executive stakeholders.
  • Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Act as the main liaison with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Present project updates, risks, and financials to clients and the company board.
  • Resolve contractual disputes and manage conflicts during construction phases.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like PMP preferred).
  • Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with leadership roles at the senior or director level.
  • Deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and strategic skills.
  • High financial literacy, including budget control and forecasting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of solving complex problems and making decisions under pressure.
